Part-Time Events Assistant

The Asbury Park Music Foundation, a non-profit providing education, scholarships and instruments to the underserved youth in the city, as well as live music events to unite the community, is seeking a part-time events assistant whose responsibilities include load in/set up/load out events.

This is a paid, year-round position, not a seasonal job.  The right person must be able to commit to 2-3 hours of load in and load out, 3 evening weeknights (no weekends) for 10 weeks during the summer and to the same during the holiday season in November and December, as well as on-call events throughout the year and will:

→        preferably live in the Asbury Park area

        have a valid driver’s license and use of a vehicle to transport merchandise and supporting event materials (tables, chairs, racks, etc.)to locations in and around Asbury Park area

→        be able to lift and transport bins (10-20 lbs)

        be punctual, reliable, a team player and friendly!
