A huge THANK YOU and heartfelt gratitude to John P. Lannon, Butch Franklin & Bobby Bandiera, friends of avid music lover and collector, Frank Louis DeChino, who passed away recently. In honor of their friend, they established the Frank Louis DeChino Memorial Music Fund and presented APMF Operations Director, Jeri Houseworth, with a check for $1,000 before our May 19 Sunday Sessions show to pay it forward in a way that would have been meaningful to him. The hope is that it might perhaps one day launch the career of a young guitarist who includes among his or her inspirations Ten Years After’s Alvin Lee, Frank’s No. 1 musical hero (and whose “Goin’ Home” Bobby was obligated to play every time he saw Frank at one his shows).
