Greetings from Asbury Park! That’s a ‘hello’ we don’t take lightly, especially right now, as we all face the challenges of an uncertain future.
As a volunteer-managed non-profit organization, APMF is facing a critical juncture. Foundations and corporate sponsors contribute significantly to our annual budget, but our individual donors are at the heart of what we do – and we need your support to keep our music education programs going.
During this unprecedented time, we have shifted our focus from in-person programming on the Beat Bus and at schools and our partners’ facilities to an all-digital platform. This virtual curriculum is crucial for at-risk students who have lost the structure of school days and after-school programs. Instead of preparing for a summer of shows and concerts featuring local artists, students, and bands, APMF is struggling to continue to offer these virtual programs to students through the remainder of the school year—and beyond.
We know that there are many well-deserving entities in our community right now and we hope that you can find a way to support the vital programs of the APMF as well. Our kids count on us and our supporters to provide them each with the best future possible.
