Don’t Miss Asbury Park’s Biggest Young (& Old) Upstarts!
ASBURY PARK – Lakehouse Music Academy Asbury Park’s progressive music school, is proud to announce its annual “Big Gig” will take place at the Asbury Lanes located at 209 4th Avenue for three days of free music starting Friday, February 8th and continuing Saturday, February 9th, and Sunday, February 10th. The “Big Gig” features performances all day long from 65+ bands that rehearse each and every week at Lakehouse Music Academy located at 619 Lake Avenue in Asbury Park. The Asbury Park Music Foundation will once again join forces with Lakehouse Music Academy to raise funds and increase visibility for the Foundation’s “Music Saved My Life” youth education programs. APMF will raise funds through their signature “Music Saved Asbury Park” merchandise, a 50/50 and a gift raffle for new musical instruments. Proceeds directly support the under-served youth in the Asbury Park area.
Dozens of APMF scholarship recipients will be performing during this 3-day event and Asbury Park Music Foundation volunteers will be on hand to provide information about the many programs that need continued support.

* Scholarships to Lakehouse Music Academy
* Hip Hop Institute at the Boys and Girls Club of Monmouth
* Hope Academy Charter School music classes (K–8)
* Our Lady of Mount Carmel after-school music program
* “Beat Bus” Mobile Studio Classroom
* Summer Music Camps
* New programs include “Voices” music classes at APHS, Audio Tech & Latin Music Group Band
* Our Lady of Mount Carmel – Ukulele and Guitar Program performance recently at Lakehouse
